Today it's all Cee Lo. From The Dungeon Family in Atlanta while rapping on Outkast's first album (in 1994) all the way to a permanent judge on some NBC talent(less) show and a half time performer in last Sunday's Super Bowl. Good for him, I say. He was definitely the standout artist in the four person Goodie MOb and, along with Outkast, were the best among that bunch of rappers. I used to hear that Cee Lo put on the best live performance in all of hip hop, removing his shirt to unveil a belly and tattoos. He'd stage dive, get sweaty, and give his all at every show. Never did see him live though. He went silent for a little bit (reading Wikipedia it seems his mother's passing might have been the reason) before remaking and building himself into the singer/rapper that he is today. He also added "Green" to his stage name. His real name is Thomas DeCarlo Calloway. His step daughter was once a huge brat on an episode of MTV's "My Super Sweet 16." But I digress. Enjoy Cee Lo from early to now. This bump includes instances where he cameoed, was part of a group, sang backup, joined with Dangermouse, and finally went solo. I skipped your favorite FU song. He's talented, at least give him that. Maybe you'll even learn to love a little Cee Lo.
